Ceren Sena Akdeniz is an İstanbul-based casting director. She studied Art Management at Yeditepe University's Faculty of Fine Arts, and while still a student, joined Renda Güner Agency — a pioneering casting agency in Turkey at the time — as a casting assistant. She went on to work as an in-house casting director at Avşar Film.
Since 2014, she has worked independently across film, digital, television, and theatre, on both Turkish productions and international co-productions filmed in Turkey and in Europe.
Her most recent project as casting director is İlker Çatak's Yellow Letters (Gelbe Briefe), winner of the Golden Bear at the 76th Berlinale.
